Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

We were visiting from out of town and were initially surprised by the casual atmosphere (didn't notice HOW casual when we looked it up on Yelp) since we had arranged for babysitting and expected a grownup evening. But our experience was exceptional! While we wavered over whether to head somewhere else, they offered us samples and we were immediately hooked. The pizza is as good as any you'd get in Rome - maybe better! Our large group ordered 1, if not 2, of each of their pizzas and none of us were disappointed. We even sampled their dessert (Nutella on their pizza dough) which was also amazing. Thank you for such a nice evening!

Loved it. Try the Nutella dessert. We have just moved to the area and will def be back

Incredibly fresh, delicious focaccia! Place is very clean and nicely decorated. We love it here and come back again and again!! You will not be disappointed!!

I have to say I was first a little surprised when I walked in - I have a preconceived notion about a "pizza" place and this one is different! The food was so good and so fresh and so tasty, I'm going back! There is a young lady behind the counter - so very helpful, not intrusive, making suggestions pointing out all the options... can't what to go back.

Best pizza in Flagler County if not North Florida. The crust is the best I have ever eaten anywhere. Tender but crispy. I love the choice of toppings.

Not a wine bar and not really a pizzeria. Focaccia bread with toppings. The toppings we had were a bit dried out. The mushroom piece in the case was dried up and had a "stay far away me" appearance written all over it. It was totally dried up and burnt on the edges. The pieces we had, $4.99 each were large pieces of bread with sparse toppings and no sauce. Overall, both pieces were dry as the Mojave. The eggplant piece was good as the eggplant and cheese retained some moisture, the piece with broccoli was dry and past its prime. Regarding travel on this bread, it does not travel as well as regular pizza. Atmosphere is almost non-existent, the place is sparse and clean, the help are nice and polite. Regarding the advertised wine bar, there ain't none. They had one bottle of white wine, that's all, one bottle of white wine. If you like focaccia bread with toppings, this is the place for you. I don't, I like pizza and I like a variety of wine and beer choices and some atmosphere with my pizza and I need pizza that travels well in a pizza box. As a result, we won't be back. Always suspicious of so many positive reviews in Palm Coast, we had to try it. We did not like it. Maybe if they introduced some real pizza we would go back, but dry bread and some toppings, no way. Sorry this is an honest review, nice folks but not very good product and no atmosphere.

My 5 Star rating is for them being one of the best PIZZA Restaurants I've ever eaten at. If I were to rank them against EVERY restaurant, I'd give them a 4. Great flavors (I had eggplant, my wife had prosciutto and we both loved them) It's quick, simple, tasty, and fast. What more do you want? Price? $4.99 each which was a great price considering the size they give you. Everyone who went up to checkout raved about their meal and had recommendations for newcomers placing their orders. I'm certain if you try them once, you'll be back.

This excellent pizza and panini place is a joy to eat at. The owner/operators recently moved here from Italy, so naturally the food is authentic Italian. It's delicious, simple, and inexpensive. You can get wine or beer with your meal, too. Definitely a place to visit if you're nearby.
(5)Ian S.
Love the decor! Two very friendly owners with delicious food. This place goes for quality ingredients, and it is one of the reasons the food is so delicious. Using an assortment of Italian ingredients Focaccia strives to maintain its Italian heritage. Overall, a place you must visit!

Easily the most inventive, clean and wonderful dining establishment in all of Palm Coast. Pay attention restaurant proprietors, this is how great food and service are delivered.
(5)Haley O.
So good & fresh! Nothing like this place in Palm Coast! The Focaccia is so flavorful and light but filling. You do not get that heavy bread feeling after you have eaten here! The owners are really from Italy so it's authenticated Focaccia. The customer service is excellent and the restaurant is sleek and modern, again nothing like Palm Coast! The Nutella Focaccia is to die for!
(5)Patricia C.
What a find! Think Rome and pull off the Interstate! You won't be disappointed! Great crust, good cheeses -especially mozzarella. Reasonable prices and great , personable owners!
(5)Stephanie C.
WOW! I felt like I was back in Italy! Most excellent food. Will definitely go back for more :-D
(5)Cathy M.
Having traveled to Italy I have sampled some of the finest focaccia our blue planet has to offer. I always thought that level of artesian craftsmanship was reserved for the masters of Napoli. - until now. I have been frequenting Focaccia regularly since they opened and the one thing I can tell you is that it has no equal. It is simply the best I have had. The menu is brilliant, the food fresh, light, and very satisfying. I highly, highly recommend.

Thanks for closing in our faces and laughin at 745pm (closing time is 8pm) ! Wow ...we came from Orlando to eat in your restaurant and found an awesome surprise! Very dissapointed.

Didn't expect to find a place like this in Palm Coast. They're good even by Tampa standards. Food is fresh, reasonably priced, and delicious, and the owners seemed really nice. Will definitely be back.

Hidden gym in Palm Coast. The staff is amazing and the pizza is fresh. I get the Diavola every time I come. By far one of my favorite spots in Palm Coast!
(5)Cheryl R.
Fantastic restaurant! Great food, very friendly, extremely clean...try the Nutella pizza!
(5)Marianne S.
Very, very good food. They always have a great variety. It is also one of the cleanest restaurant have ever been to. Any of the options are great, but my personal favorite is the one with zucchini and olives.
(5)Edward J.
The best pizza ever. The crust takes my mouth to pizza heaven. The toppings are awesome. The rest of the pizza places here better step up their game. The word is out on this place and the old folks that KNOW real pizza and loving it. Seriously, the crust is artisian quality. The price is reasonable, you can get lunch for less then $7. See pictures.
(5)Will F.
The food is excellent! I feel you get a great value for your money and it is nice to have an option for gourmet pizza in Palm Coast Florida without a long wait. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will return.
(5)Rose L.
I don't mean to be harsh here, but how are you going to call yourself a wine bar and then offer wine from ONE vineyard? Three stars because pizza IS really good and fun to share, but this is a pizza place, not a wine bar. I went expecting a restaurant with dim lighting and sexy pizza.
(3)Dirk N.
Had a Roma sandwich (mozorella and prosciutto) and a pepperoni pizza. Both were excellent and very flavourful. The pepperoni especially. They even gave us some complimentary appetizers. The decor was nice, bright, and spotless. Highly recommend.

They have new menu items!!!! NEW Amazing Salads, and fresh pasta dishes! Plus, cheese plates and assorted meats. Plus deserts, espresso with ice cream! I'm going back soon to try new things! Today we got the usual, pizza & pizettes, always amazing! I've never ever ever been disappointed here. Service with a smile is contagious here! I'm super excited about their new menu items! It's a great place for high quality food and not having to wait!
(5)Elgina H.
Came across this place while searching on yelp for new local spots to eat. This place is absolutely adorable and has a really vintage vibe. Looks like something pulled straight out of Pinterest. Their "pizza" isn't the typical pizza you would think of but it's definitely good! One wasn't too filling for my boyfriend and I but still worth stopping bye.

Found this place by accident while in the area. It is amazing what can be done with Flour, Salt, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Water and Yeast. Big long rectangles of Focaccia pizza with a myriad of items to choose. Served by the slice so you do not have to feel obligated for everyone to have the same thing on one pizza. Closed Sunday and Monday like so many true Italian places.
(4)Laura H.
Amazing freshness and authentic Italian combinations (the day we went we had potato & rosemary, broccoli & sausage & the recommended sandwich). The owners are actually from Rome and their supurb textured focaccia is the best that exists on the planet. Decor is clean, simple, and welcoming. Love the big windows! Am I really still in Palm Coast?
(5)Bronwyn G.
Stopped in during a road trip. The whole family was happy with their choices. Everyone commented on the crust as a highlight. Service was excellent. The facilities and tables were clean.
(5)Kseniya Z.
Love their pizza choices. Spicy sausage and broccoli and potato and mushroom. Actually my favorite is zucchini, tomato and mozzarella. Yes indeed such toppings exist here and they are quiet different from your traditional topping but I got my entire office hooked on this place. keep it up and we look forward to having more interesting toppings. Crust is out of bounce flavorful and you do not need any sauce!!!!!!!!
(5)Shelly S.
So glad we have a place like this in Palm Coast. Their focaccia always has the freshest ingredients. Great selection. Nice modern and casual ambiance. The owners are always so nice and helpful. One of my favorite places to eat in Palm Coast!

Focaccia is a study in excellence. It's goal, as far as I can tell, is to provide fresh and simply delicious focaccia bread in the form of sandwiches and pizza al taglia. Our dinner there last night was a perfect execution of that goal. It was a rainy Friday night that saw a steady stream of patrons without the tiny establishment ever reaching capacity. Focaccia's two owners/workers are a husband and wife pair who hail from Rome. The atmosphere is casually modern without any droll "Italian restaurant" kitsch. Lynn had the pizza "pocochino", focaccia topped with fresh mozzarella, basil, roasted cherry tomatoes and a bit of olive oil. I had the "Bologna" sandwich with mortadella. And we shared an olive pizzette and a "Bianca", focaccia with olive oil. A simple board advertising their wines with suggested pairings that accompanied the meal very well. We couldn't resist wrapping up dinner with the Nutella dessert. Focaccia is a presentation of simplicity, quality ingredients, and an at-home-warmth: hallmarks of Italian cuisine. I've not experienced anything else like it between New Smyrna and St. Augustine. Do yourself a favor and head out to Focaccia for lunch or dinner sometime soon.

Great little spot. Not the kind of pizza most people are familiar with, but these little focaccia squares are excellent. Fresh ingredients, well crafted, prepared ahead of time and ready to go. We picked both options with mushrooms, and they were flavorful, fresh portobellos, perfectly seasoned with olive oil, garlic, basil. This place is a great find, though a bit tucked away.

Great place!! We recently moved here from SF. Nice vibe here, mix of SF and Rome. Love everything they do and style they carry it off with! Lots of terrific choices and of course we Will be back! Ciao

Hands down the absolute best focaccia bread I have ever had. The ingredients are garden fresh and the crust is perfectly seasoned. The selection is varied and has something for everyone. I have been ordering at least once a week since I discovered them. Today I was visiting a relative in the hospital and decided to bring some of the focaccia. The owners added extra to the box. Good Karma, Great Food - wish this business tremendous success here in Palm Coast and beyond.
(5)Kyla M.
Ate here after seeing all the yelp reviews. Really good! Everything was simple but good and owner was nice. The shop is bright and modern, not what you would expect in Florida. I was a little surprised that EVERYONE gave them 5 stars, though. There was not a big selection available, maybe 5? I would have preferred a few more options.
(4)Frank C.
Great lunch find while visiting Palm Coast. Friendly owners and fantastic pizza al taglio. We ordered the parmagiano, and a Capri focaccia both of which were phenomenal. Of course, we had to order something to go before we left.
(5)Richard S.
Ok. The customer service was great. However, I tried a variety of their options and didn't find any particularly satisfying nor would I order them again.
(3)Southridge B.
Authentic Focaccia is hard to come by in the USA. These fellows nailed it in flavor, atmosphere and service. Definitively the best Palm Coast Italian retreat. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!
(5)Anne P.
Best Pizza! Owners are from Rome, Italy. Very friendly. Pizza is so good. Excellent crust and the freshest ingredients. Cannot recommend this place more. If you enjoy a real pizza this the place to go!!
(5)Seven A.
Delicious, Creative, Fresh, Modern AWESOME place to have dinner or take away. I hope they stay here.
(5)Ashley B.
You will never be able to eat Nutella any other way again after having the Nutella focaccia sandwich! The focaccia pizza and sandwiches are amazing as well. If you like real food made right you will love this place!
